Yeah, Enma is stronger than Raditz, but he's for sure not stronger than Nappa or anybody after that, so it's still "how did he do it?".

the yemma lock must be a very powerful technique lol. more likely that they have some way of blocking their power in the check-in station.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god

Sorry didnt notice the thread had diverged to how they are contained. i was still going on the fight between pikkon and cell which im 100% is filler episodes which doesnt really need to be answered coz they rnt cannon. The containment in hell is an interesting question, becuase its seen that goku can isntant transmission in and out of otherworld so why cant cell?

I would think that they have a way to banish them straight to hell. Makes sense, and I doubt Yemma could could use some kind of psycho power to restrain them.

The answer is simple, remember that anyone goes to hell does not get to keep their bodies. Vegeta only got his body back because Yemma wanted it so. This way Vegeta could go back to earth and fight Buu. But otherwise they don't get to keep their bodies and therefore they can't do anything.

So you mean even Krillin could beat up Cell if Cell was in hell?

according to that krillin would have no1 to beat up

So does that mean that they take up the Ghost Cloud Form? Because that doesn't weaken there power, it makes there power nonexistent. So that even the blue security guys are able to control them with such ease.

But GT tells us a different story. In gt.... They do keep there bodies. As demonstrated by cell n frieza.

In the manga yes, but in the anime things are different.

The manga is the cannon storyline so therefore taking into account it becomes a plot hole in the anime automatically, because the anime contradicts itself because they even said that Vegeta didn't have his body because he was in hell. So basically the anime contradicts itself and because of it, the manga should be the one counted.

But then again Pikkon is filler too, but still.

And like someone said if they were turned into clouds they would have no power level. Like for example the movie Fusion Reborn takes place in hell and you see all those cloud figures.

I actually think the anime should have done those fillers with Hell or HFIL better by not making these contradictions

But you cant try make an non- canon argument canon lol
Defeats the purpose

I would say there is certain rules applied in Hell.

It's not their physical body, only Goku kept his physical, Cell didnt.
His was more spiritual

But Pikkon was prepared to go to Hell by himself and settle things single-handedly. He was completely confident that he could take care of Cell, Freeza and the others. Grand Kai, who surely would've known how powerful Cell was, gave Pikkon the order not Goku. Therefore Pikkon is probably at least a bit stronger than Cell. Either that or villains become much weaker upon entering Hell, which would also explain why the Ginyu Force was defeated by the humans and why Broly didn't completely wreck the place.

I think if Pikkon and Goku fought as soon as Goku arrived at the Grand Kai's planet, Pikkon would've raped Goku. But since Goku had a full month to train at one of the best training grounds in the entire Other World, I think it's entirely possible for him to have increased his power beyond Cell in time for the tournament. In any case, I think Goku would've improved a lot more in a month than Pikkon, since Pikkon had already been training there a very long time and had possibly reached his peak.
Man, I just love your logic :)

Oh, and a one word answer to this could be: filler.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.
